The Best and Most Affordable Foundation

For flawless skin, I use Revlon Photo Ready Foundation. It has tiny light reflecting particles to give your skin a glowy finish. I used to use Clinique foundations and cover-up, but now with my tan, there isn't a shade that looks natural on my skin color. It's important to have two different tones of foundation: one for summer, one for winter. You can even mix two foundations for a perfect match. However, I have been deeply impressed with the Revlon foundation, and I think you would be too.

The Secret to Ageless Skin

Even if you're still young, its important now to keep your skin firm and elastic. This way you get a jumpstart on keeping your skin looking young, so when you do get older your skin will still look fresh. The secret? Strawberries! They have more Vitamin C than oranges! Vitamin C boosts the production of collagen in your body, which keeps your skin firm and elastic. Plus, they are super yummy! :)

A Remedy for Dull Skin

If your skin looks lifeless, a few things could be to blame. Here's what may cause dull skin:
  • Lack of exercise
  • Junk food or lack of vitamins/minerals
  • Improper cleansing of your skin
  • Using too many skin care products
  • Inadequate amount of sleep

First of all, cut down on the junk food you eat and substitute the junk with naturally sweet fruits, like bananas or watermelon. Then make exercise a regular part of your routine, and stop using so many products on your skin. Also try to get at least eight hours of sleep each night. Finally, try Clean & Clear Morning Burst Detoxifying Facial Cleanser once or twice a week. It is infused with oxygen to "wake up" your skin. It also detoxifies your skin to give it a healthy glow. Follow these steps, and you should see a difference in a week or two!

The Best Cleanser for Dry or Sensitive Skin

If you have dry or sensitive skin, try Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser. Its especially for sensitive or dry skin. It's a heavy cream that is oil free, and it cleans deep down into your pores for clean and supple skin. It tingles when you put it on to let you know its working deep down into your pores. This doesn't hurt, its actually soothing.

The Best Cleansers for Oily or Combination Skin

For oily or combination skin (like mine) use L'Oreal's Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser. I recently bought, and have been very impressed. You simply pour a quarter sized amount of the liquid soap onto the little scrubet, which has little tiny nubs that open pores to remove dirt, oil, and makeup from your skin. It left my skin feeling very smooth, and it won't dry oyut your skin. For smaller looking pores, splash your face with cold water afterwards.

The Ultimate Stress Buster

No one wants to feel stressed. (Especially since stress leads to breakouts) But if you are feeling stressed, then here's how to get rid of it.
  1. Run/power-walk for a mile or two (It's proven exercise relieves stress)
  2. Watch (and do) one of those palates/yoga videos
  3. Rinse off and wash your hair in the shower
  4. Get out and run a bath
  5. Put in some yummy smelling bubble bath (White tea and jasmine is perfect to calm you down)
  6. While the water's running, get a few towels and put them in the dryer
  7. Before getting in, apply an avocado and honey face mask (Leave it on for the whole time you're in the bath to let it soak in and deep-clean your skin)
  8. Drain the water when you're ready to get out, then stand up and rinse off any bubbles and the mask
  9. Get your towels out of the dryer (They should be waaaaaarm)
  10. Dry off, then read a magazine or a book
(If you aren't totally relaxed by now, you should see a therapist)

Anti-Frizz Potion

If you don't have an anti-frizz spray handy, here's how to get rid of frizz.

For Naturally Frizzy Hair:
  1. Mix an anti-frizz conditioner with a tad bit of mayonaise. (Not too much of either)
  2. Work into damp hair.
  3. Brush hair to remove knots.
  4. Blowdry on low, then straighten.

For a Bad Hair Day:

  1. Use a light conditioner on dry hair. Not too much, or it will ruin your flat iron.
  2. Simply flat iron your hair, and you're good to go!
